Features

Temperature range

Range between -35º and -38º C.

A product is considered frozen when at the heart of the product it reaches -18º C.

Capacity

The capacity of the PROTON® range is measured per kg. frozen per hour.

There is a wide range with different capacities. A distinction must be made between nominal and actual capacity.

 

 

Rated capacity

In Europe, we have freezers with a nominal capacity of 3 Kg. Up to 500 Kg. Per hour.

 

 

Actual capacity

The actual capacity is calculated based on the time required for the specific food to freeze.

Freezing cycle is the time required for the full charge of the freezer to reach -18º C at the heart of each product.

 

So, for example, if it is a food that requires 15 min. To freeze (such as sushi), in this case, 4 freezing cycles should be calculated in 1 hour (15 min. x 4 = 60 min.). To calculate the actual capacity of the chosen model, its nominal capacity must also be multiplied by 4.

Thus, for this example, the actual capacity of the PF-15 model for sushi freezing is 60 kg / hour (15 x 4).

The same procedure should be followed for the rest of the models in the range.

At this capacity, the loading and unloading times between each freeze cycle must be discounted for the cabinet models.

Tunnel models operate continuously without interruption.

 

 

Calculation of the necessary capacity

Security

All freezers have passed Japan's strict safety regulations.

CMPs use electromagnetic fields that emit non-ionizing radiation that do not produce any change in the food, since these electromagnetic radiation are not capable of breaking molecular bonds.

Non-ionizing radiation is what we often find in our daily lives and covers practically the entire electromagnetic spectrum: magnets, infrared lamps, solar lamps, microwaves, mobile phones, etc.

For this reason, there is NO danger of approaching the freezer or its continued use, except for sensitive people for different reasons: people with pacemakers and pregnant women.

Security measures

All the equipment comply with the safety regulations of Japan and the CE.

The safety mechanisms included in the CMPs are automatically activated when any operation is carried out that could be dangerous for the user (opening of the fan door, etc.).

Precautions to be taken before and during operations are specified in the operating manual for each CMP, with suggestions such as "MUST BE DONE", "MUST NOT BE DONE" or "CANNOT BE DONE" for proper operation.

It does not have any of the dangerous risks that facilities have for the use of nitrogen (risk of explosion, gas leaks, etc.)

Frozen product safety

For the above reason (non-ionizing radiation), magnetic freezing has no effect on food thus frozen.

In addition, magnetic freezing increases food safety thanks to the elimination of the bacterial population and its reproduction, the death of microorganisms, the inhibition of the activity of the most resistant pathogens, the elimination of parasites such as anisakis in products from the sea, the conservation of nutrients, and allows their long-term storage without additives, fully complying with legal sanitary regulations.

Uniformity

Different types of freezers are not required depending on the type of food or product to be frozen.

CMPs freeze all kinds of food, even those that until now were thought impossible or very difficult to freeze.

Refreeze

PROTON technology Allows to re-freeze a previously frozen food with a CMP and thawed, by keeping intact the cell structure of the food after thawing, although it is not a recommended practice.

Dimensions

Each of the CMPs have different dimensions according to type and capacity.

Electrical consumption

Consumption varies depending on the model, but all CMPs have been manufactured under the premises of moderate consumption.

The electrical consumption of the smaller freezers (PF-3 and PF-15) are comparable to the consumption of a domestic freezer.

It does not use any type of consumable gas when freezing.

Clean Tech

PROTON technology only uses cold air, magnets and electric current, preserving the environment.

The refrigerant gas used by the engines for their normal operation complies with the European regulation F-Gas 517/2014 to contribute to the progressive reduction of emissions by reducing the use of fluorinated greenhouse gases (replacement of R-404 gas by R- gas). 448A (PF-15A) and R-410 gas (other models)).

Installation

The smaller capacity cabinet models (PF3 and PF15) do not require any type of installation and should only be plugged into the mains.

The higher capacity cabinet models (PF30, PF60 and PF150) require auxiliary machinery (external condensing unit, drain pipe and transformer) and the necessary auxiliary installation works (electricity and water) for their installation.

 

Continuous tunnel models require auxiliary machinery (external condensing unit, drain pipe and transformer) and necessary facilities (electricity and water) for their installation.
